So, no link? The simple fact they changed It?
This is the world when even when people are wront will dye before admitting. And it Is beautifull.
So you cannot provide a link to back up your statement that benchmade said they didn't do this on purpose. Got it.Hahaha get your link with your hands I am not.wasting my time.
Read the post: on Instagram they confirmed they are running new batches at higher HR. Stop. It Is on their Instagram. Stop.
3V at 55 was a joke.stop
You see, the problem with your statement is that they did it on purpose AND they have now changed it.Fyi in Instagram they said they fixed the HT.
So for the They Did It On Purpouse guys...no.
Anybody willing to try??![]()

Good companies change things all the time. Take spyderco with their cqi as an example.
Don't be in such a hurry to be right and miss the obvious.
I get that English is not your first language (you are from Italy) but no, you are not clear and you are now contradicting yourself, even using words that don't make sense. Maybe time to stop.No no.your gettint It All wrong. Maybe I was not clear.
I dont think benchmade made It at 55 on purpouse.or Better: I do believe they either did It to save money on grinding or they Did It for incapacity.
But there were people saying they did It on purpouse at 55 which Is....Amazing and incredible.
I am super Happy they are now running It where It makes sense to run It. 55 Is butter.
And that they improoved. Hope my position Is clear.
Thank you for the evidence. Honestly, my questions to him were rhetorical.craytab I was genuinely curious, so I went and found the comment he's talking about. Sounds like CQI to me. They released something, customers complained, and they updated it.

Revisionist history. You forgot when you inaccurately and rudely said this:Little history: I asked some time ago IF they fixed the HT for this.
Somebody replied: there Is nothing to fix this Is like this on purpouse!
Later on: benchmade fixes HT.
Today: I said: Guess what???they Fixed It!
And than...the link guy appears. The evidence guy.
Go on...keep the meaningless and shamefull discussion Alive.
Truth of the story Is Benchmade now finally Is producing a maybe good 3v. That Is good. Well done Benchmade. This Is good.
You are wrong. Sorry. So for the They Did It On Purpouse guys...no.
Exactly. Why this is so difficult to understand and be so wrong in the process, I don't get.So let me say that I support companies putting out knives that the advertised heat treat matches the actual heat treat. With m390 and 20cv we're being told it's run higher and it's testing lower. Benchmade never mislead anyone with their 3v heat treat. They intentionally ran it low in an attempt to make it tougher. This did not optimize the steel and the community knew they wanted a higher heat treat. Benchmade made the change.
To me there was no foul play. They had an idea for heat treat, it didn't work, and they changed it. Spyderco does this and gets praised. Sometimes design and execution don't work as you thought it would.
Now, advertising a higher heat treat and it actually being lower is an issue that needs to be resolved.
