Dan, I think if you started a thread announcing that you are ready to take deposits and start processing orders you would have more people signing up. This sticky is quite old. Just a thought.
 
Oh man, looks like these got put back on the back burner. This list was made official and ready to begin, now it's being classified as not ready yet. Are we still looking at a couple of months for these? Or longer?

My problem is that I am too patient. People ask for an inch and I give them a mile. I'm not necessarily a push-over....just too tolerant, perhaps.

*shrug*


Haven't heard from him yet....I'm asking for the steel to be returned.

I've called and emailed with no response.

Looks like I am going to have to cut my losses on this one, guys, and just order more steel and have it sent here.

I can't believe I getting screwed YET AGAIN.

Do I have SUCKER written on my face or something?

That's terrible! What a deadbeat. There's nothing like having to completely start over.

You gonna take him to small claims?
 
No.....not my style.

I'll just keep pursuing it....I'm sure I'll eventually get the steel back. I'm just going to have to get my stuff cut somewhere else. Which is crazy considering I've had literally over a thousand blanks cut there....a shame to have to sever the connection.

I don't blame you. He might be coming on hard times, but a little communication goes a long way. I can see how this must be frustrating for you.

richard - I'm not sure what you're implying...nor what you might be reading into my posts.

My issue was a lack of communication. I have not lost anything, or been stolen from, etc. We have a place for feedback called The Good, Bad & Ugly.

Happily, things seem to be worked out now and ugliness has been avoided.

Hi Dan,

Just wanted to make a correction
its not 3 1/4 inch blades. i wanted 2 in 1/4 inch and 1 in 1/8 inch scandi ground

1/8 inch - natural canvas, and if i can black liners (if thats ok with you)

1/4 - Natural canvas with black liners if i can
1-4 - DIB if its available with white liners if i can

(I understand if you dont do liners, just a request)

What is DIB?


I definitely can do liners - I don't have white though. I'll check into it.

Black or green would be fine, just not red liners.

Ok - I can get Ironwood burl, but it costs a bit more. Just FYI. I'll update it with black liners.
