Here's a few, Mike. Please don't award the knife to me if you don't mind. I like to show pics, but have plenty of knives already (yep, I DID just say that! :D)

This is one of my favorite pictures of one of my favorite places. It is the resident elk herd on the Buffalo National River near Ponca, Arkansas. I didn't take the picture though. It was taken by my photographer friend, Tim Ernst who found his calling as a wildlife and wildland photographer, and used it as a means to build a cozy log home for his bride, daughter and himself in the mountains not far from the river. I could only wish for his skills with a camera!

This is where I was going to go for my winter canoe trip last year. Best laid plans and all that. It is still a possibility this year. At least a week with just me and the river and the wildlife.

Congrats on 4K, mike! That's great.

My favorite spot is definitely this little cliff overhang. It's where I asked my wife to marry me, a very good day. Also a nice quiet spot if you just want to sip some tea or think or nap.

Favorite spot would be hard, but this is my favorite pic from one of them !

I don't wish to be entered for the knife though as I already have one and would rather someone else discovered how good they are !

Here's an oldie but a goodie - It's probably my favorite picture and was an absolutely beautiful place. I live on the other side of the country from the Grand Canyon, but I dream of going back just about every day.

Clearing Storm over the Sierras

Well, we can only add 10 pics per post, so... I'll have to limit it to those 4 places I love. I guess they could all kind of be categorized loosely as "The Eastern Sierras", so I'll say that I choose The Eastern Sierras as my favorite spot.

Thank you for the contest, Mike.
