They are Eikerverangs picts- and Eikverang stated he had a 1 dollar khuk with Nepall 1999 printed on it. What say you? Did I get this wrong?
Rene may have stolen Eikerverang's pics and story. Eikerverang and Rene are not neccisarily the same person. An admin could check if the used the same IP address though.

Those addresses can change- but I'll cool down and let calmer more reasonable men sort this out. I will modify my ban the troll thread to include only Rene's name at this time.

with all the things Uncle has been going through, NOW THIS.

you're nothing but a worthless coward.

I am sure his comeupance will be served. As Uncle said in another thread, Karma will take care of this.

Now I understand why Rene mentioned “Sweden” so much in his posts (Swedish tools, Swedish nails, etc). Much like Eikervaering did in his archived thread. And all his (shall we say politically incorrect) comments about Chile being a third world country (when Chile is one of the wealthiest Countries in this hemisphere) just made me put his story in the “caution” category.

Just my two cents.

There are a few things more that an experienced investigator would do before wrapping up this case, but right now, a Norwegian named "Jimenez" looks like a scum sucking pig. Excellent research Rusty....maybe you could become a consultant and help out our government's investigative branches.

As a quick aside, we own two HI blades and they are used in the same manner the Viking Jimenez :barf: does. No failures and amazement on every persons face who is present as a witness. I have personally never seen blades of this price/quality level before.

I can't believe someone would go to all this trouble for...what? But then, I can't believe someone would armor plate a tractor to get even with people who did...what?
Would a cantinista please help me by defining 2 terms used a lot here?
1. Troll
2. Sweet spot
If this turns out to be a rip-off of UB, There's going to be a bunch of bad smoke going up for this guy.

A troll delights in hurting people, creating anger and disent, and doesn't care about the truth or reality of any person or issue, but likes the fire. He wants pain. He is used to it, and wants others to share the experience.

The sweet spot on a Khuk is the deliberately hardest part of the blade, as it represents the section where the natural stroke should connect to target and results in the least stress to blade and man, and most damage to target.

The sweet spot is the home run on the baseball bat.

Jose, you're right about Chile- it has an enormous middle class, doesn't it? Now, he broke several hundred dollars worth of khuk but said it wasn't practical to have a chain saw there.
Then he said I was picking on him when I asked about this.

If anyone has the option at their disposal, may I recomend taking the role of personified karma?

I just can't stand these people who ruin the genrousity of many around the cantina for the next HONEST person. Like people who didn't pay for khukuri's when shipped before payment on blems. Just irks me.

Oh well.

"Would a cantinista please help me by defining 2 terms used a lot here?
1. Troll 2. Sweet spot
"

1) Me
2) Listen to what the Khukuri is saying. When you hit the S-spot she'll tell you ;)

Munk is right about IP addresses. If you have a dialup connection, then the IP changes as a function of the modem that you happen to connect with.

I have a journal subscription that I must get at work (not home), because my home IP is variable. I use a dialup connection at home.

Hey Munk - we do agree about something....
also about Hi Kukhuris.

Arty, you are not the only forumite who I disagree with about politics but still respect.

Brian- you asked where? You mean, where is Rene's father's Inn located? Presumably, this is where the 'farm' is too. The web page says a little ways from Santiago Chile.

munk,
No, I was wondering about the location of the legendary 'sweet spot.' Kinda like the 'G spot' - which also has eluded me.

start about 3 inches from the tip and chop a chunk of stabile wood- like a tree or pos that doesn't move. Move down the blade with each chop. The folks are right you know- when you strike wood and it feels good- like a bat hitting the ball at the right spot, the khuk will let you know.

It's sad to see such ugliness. Uncle Bill is extremely honest and trusting. This means he's going to get burned on occasion. That's just a part of life. Doesn't mean I'm happy about it, but there's not a lot I can do about it either. Bill's probably grown up enough to make his own decisions about how he wants to run his business. :D As for the identity of Rene, I'm not so sure. Eikerværing seemed like a nice fellow, and I don't understand why he would go through all the trouble of creating a new identity to badmouth HI when he had already received replacements for his broken khukuris in the past. If they are one in the same person, it would be nice to know. Rene, if you were already banned as an HI customer, how did you get the new khukuris that broke? I'm also a bit confused about the total number of khukuris you have broken. Did you break four originally and then another two recently for a total of six, or have you just broken four total?

--Josh

He broke two and recieved two as replacement and broke them recently. Eik broke the gelbu and a Kobra over year ago. This does not look good.
