Those sound like good ideas. I have been thinking about a Case Pen knife or an Opinel 6 in Walnut. Does anyone know of good USA dealers for English Lambsfoot knives or Otter-Messer knives?

You should be able to get the Otter Mercator Black Cat for well under $40. I was stunned by how much I liked that knife when I got one. (Not many photos in this thread, so I'll post one.)
