$40k Leatherman anyone?

Show where exactly is the person behind this so I can deliver foot to their rear entrance? Seriously, who in their right mind would spend that much on a leatherman? Hell, the regular ones seem like a bit too much for what they are, though that is just me. In any case, to think somebody would actually buy one makes me cry/laugh.

Yeah, holy cow they are expensive and yeah a pricey LEATHERMAN may seem odd, but gotta disagree w/ most posters here, they will probably sell. Making sales is probably beside the point, these are for purposes of promotion and enhancing brand prestige, but really loads of ugly (not to mention less functional!) junk gets passed off as rare or collectible and fetches far FAR higher prices. Designer name on $5 plastic purse = $2000. Except for the first one, I actually like these, the Aconto especially, and I generally HATE engraved/gilded fancy schmancy knives and such.

Perfect for the blue-collar billionaire. JerkeeJoe said it best... "that guy is delusional". Also, is TL from South America or something? Isn't the Leatherman tool 100% U.S.A. made? Couldn't TL have named these after U.S. National Parks, like the Yosemite and such and have some engraving related to that? I just plain don't get it. Absolutely none of it makes any sense.
