I dont have a pic of the redwood on a knife. I got a bit of it back from stabilizing and havnt had a chance to put it on anything yet.

OK everyone this has been a great thread and I have TONS!! of orders for this knife!!
SOOOO... to be able to get these completed in a reasonable time ( hoping everyone will be taken care of by Christmas) I am not going to be taking any more orders on this knife at this time. Once I get the current orders completed I will open the book back up!

Just to let you people know that ordered a knife that I have been working...I have the first 3 just about finished and glued up 5 more today...they should be done this week...so here a little glimps of the first 3...keep in mind that they are not finished...

Sounds like you ought to get to work! Your knives are selling within minutes of the original post. I'm gonna have to start watching more closely.

I am going to be making a batch of these to sell and i would like to list what will be available and if your interested in one send me a PM or email so I can make sure there will be one for you. so here are the options

Blade steel will be 5/32" O1 for this batch

Handle material: Maple Burl, Redwood, Black Linen Micarta, Green Canvas Micarta

Pins: both brass and SS Hidden Bolts, 3/32, 1/8" brass pins, 1/8" SS pins, 1/4" SS and Brass tubing(if you want a Thong hole let me know)

Black or Red Spacer material.

Black Leather Sheath

I just took receipt of the knives I ordered from Jim. They got here Christmas eve.

WOW! The pictures do not do them justice. They are much larger than the pictures here would leave you to believe and I'm very impressed (although the dimensions are clearly stated in post 1 :p). Nice large handle that fills my hand. Good blade geometry. Quality sheath. Did I say I'm impressed.

I've got to find the money to pick some more of Jim's stuff that I've been holding back on as I was wondering about the size of the handles.

Maybe I'll try to take pictures later. Will probably be at least Saturday as I'm working 16 hrs today, 14 hrs Thursday and Friday.
