Sarge, if you knew her, I think you'd like her even more -- she's one of the more lethal characters from Star Trek.

The character is named Seven of Nine, a human kid taken by the Borg (bad guys with GREAT technology) who was then taken back by VOYAGER (also the name of the Star Trek series.) The actress is Jeri Ryan, now in a feature role on ?Boston Public? a series in which she is one of the ensemble cast of teachers.

IMO the Seven character saved the Voyager series from an early death. But she is very strict(!) and logical. Out-vulcans vulcans. Her costuming for the Voyager series must have put thousands of teenage boys into puberty, and many adult men into cardiac arrest.

She has WONDERFUL posture, however no explanation was ever given as to why she wears high heels in the entire series. (The men didn't ask, and the women didn't care, I guess.)

I know of three, ordinarily normal, men who admit to vocalizing each time she first appears in an episode. Something on the order of "ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh."
