50 Year Birthday knife. What would you get or suggest

I think you can treat yourself to a custom knife this year. But I also think it's a perfect time to buy one of the Buck 110 50th anniversary models as suggested above. I've seen the 110 for less than $30 online. At those prices and considering the shared 50th year, you gotta get one.
 
Well I decided on what I am going to get for my 5th birthday knife and the winner is.....

A Custom made "Norfolk" Jigged Bone from "Dr. T "David Taber".

I cant wait to receive this knife .

Will post a photo when it is finished and I receive it.
 
Cool choice, Knife World ran an article on him and there is a thread focused on his work somewhere here. Very talented maker.

Very nice choice. I hope you will be as happy with your Norfolk as I am with the Zulu Spear he just made for me.

That pattern is one of my favorites, Big Papa. I'm sure yours will be a winner as Dr T has a lot of happy customers. Please post pics when you get it!
 
Congrats on both birthday and knife selection. I turn 57 March 24th and was born in 57 so when there's some extra change this summer I'll get "something" special, but it still won't be a mega item.

This is what I got myself for my 50th birthday. It's the fixed blade in the photo from Eddie White over at Shadow Knives. (The folder is one of Charlie's HJs.)
