500 USD for my first and perhaps only Busse

First of all, let me fix your title:

500 USD for my first ....... Busse ;)

All the suggestions are OUTSTANDING:

The NMSFNO slices well for a knife that large...plus they come up for sale often on the xchange...ergos are great and you get a Nuclear Meltdown treatment... P2.1 rating: :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

ASHBMCG will be FUN to chop & baton with, availablility on the storefront is a big plus, really a great value for a foot+ of INFI... P2.1 rating: :thumbup::thumbup:

I use one of my BIG NMFSH 's... it is a good balance between chopping ability & a blade the approx. same length as the Outlaw, adequate slicer, but not as nimble in hand, however... P2.1 rating :thumbup::thumbup:

TGLB has All-American Iconic Military stylings thanks to the full length fuller & top/bottom guards with talon holes, there's nothing even close to it put out by any legitimate maker, it is VERY NIMBLE in hand, well rounded and versatile at all camp chores, would make a first-rate fighter if pressed into duty, the top/bottom guard is more useful and comfortable than you'd initially guess-- it really locks you in when you choke up on the choil, however it is restrictive in modified sabre holds. I don't think you could officially consider the TGLB as a Nuclear Meltdown model, but the spine does have the "ball bearing" roundover, a big plus for me... P2.1 rating: :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Take a hard look at the Basic 8 LE on the xchange if you think you'd like a surprisingly light, extremely comfy Resperine-C handle, the blended FFG with convexxed edge is a masterpiece of sliceability, not as many style points as some of the other choices...BUT WOW what a great value for an INFI-nately usable blade...I am thankful I was able to get my ticket punched 2x on this one-off offering! P2.1 rating::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

The Good News >>> there's no bad INFI, just different INFI :D

The Bad News >>> sadly, there are tradeoffs you must consider when you compare Busse with Busse :(

Petey2.1 VERDICT: Grab a TGLB, you're gonna get one anyways regardless of what your "FIRST" (yeah, right) Busse is...trust me on this

Another Busse in five or ten years?!? Good luck, Sir. My friend tuica is averaging two per month. But then - he's crazy...Cheers.

Thanks a lot, V'man. Sometimes only one per month gets delivered to the asylum...;-)

Stop it guys!!!!!! Even I'm getting confused!!!!!:eek::D

....too....much.....information.... ;)

:D That is what I'm thinking!

Thank you so much guys! I cannot think of anything else lately. It is really hard to pick! I cannot manage to make a decision (yet) and will give this some time, contemplating what it will be. I do not want to buy my most expensive knife ever too hastily. I keep watching the exchange too, almost ten times a day lol. An NMSFNO seems an ultimate allrounder indeed...

Again thank you so much! Also to the people offering me their blades and advice in PM's! Much much appreciated! Thanks guys!
