Wow, I just realized I've been a member of BF for 9 years! This was the very first online forum I ever joined. I was having some customs made by the late Rob Simonich, and he refered me to the site, been hooked ever since.
Once the Wilderness forum was created, this is where I spend most of my time. Met tons of great folks, even if not face to face, still feels like old friends. This is just a small way of saying thanks to everyone here.

First prize will be the W&SS forum knife by Ironwolf. This knife is a little rough around the edges, but will make an excellent field knife. I have never used it.

Second prize will be an unused Vic Trekker, plus a Ritter PSK

The contest:
I really enjoy the pictures posted on here the most. When I am stuck at work and need to see some nature, knives, gear etc. it's a pick me up!

I will pick a bunch of my favorite pics from this thread
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=535892
Then I will have my wife pick her two favorites out of those. So if you haven't posted any pics in that thread, get them in by Memorial Day. I will do the choosing on Tuesday the 27th. Thanks everybody for making this the coolest place to hang out

Thanks for the contest/giveaway. I too spend a lot of time looking at pictures here.

Great idea for a giveaway.
I spend hours in that thread, there are some amazing pics in there!

Congrats, tknife! You were the first person I ever bought a blade off of here. I traded you a Ritter for a Ratweiler plus some wampum. The Rat is gone but I'm with you, this is a fantastic place to be. I thought I was weird liking knives the way I do, but if I'm weird what does that make youall?

Congrats on the 5000th! I'm working towards a 2K giveaway right now. Your posts have always been a favorite of mine in my time here.

This is a really cool giveaway btw! Some lucky winners, and stiff competition!

Glad to see you have been on here so long. Congrats.

Thanks for the contest. I too love looking at the pictures posted here, even if they don't always have a knife in them. Thanks for making this a picture contest, I look forward to all the new and old pictures.

P.S. I put some of my favorites up, I hope you like.

Wow, 9 yrs and 5k posts. Congrats man thats a long time and a ton of posts. I guess I need to post pics from the last few trips I've taken.

T, I must say I respect and admire your insights, your taste in knives (although I have spent a TON of money due to you and BEAR!), and generally respect the way you conduct yourself via this crazy thing called the Internet.

Like you, I feel a kinship with many of the guys here, I spend most of my time on WSS, and look forward to seeing what's up on a daily basis.

Congrats on the milestone! And the many more to come.

Rocky

Thanks for the kind words everybody! I'm happy to see so many new pics being posted. ANd I'm glad that thread has continued to grow and will hopefully stay pinned up there forever. It's so cool seeing the sights from across the nation, and around the world even!
