5000 post giveaway

Whew, this was tougher than I thought it would be. So many great pics from all over the world. every type of landscape and environment. And so many gear pics. I first narrowed it down to 30 pics, my wife said that's too many! So I cut it to 15. Here are the two she picked, and I agree, these could easily be in a frame hanging on my wall.

Shoot me your shipping info guys and I will mail these out this week. Thanks again for making my work days go by faster with great outdoors shots!

Wow that pic from DirtDiver could be a postcard easily.

"Come see the lush scenery of DirtDiver's Mountain"

Congrats, you two deserve it! I could never pic from some of those pics in that thread. Too many awe inspiring shots. Those two are really awesome shots, I love waterfall pics!

Awesome pics! Those are two of my favorites from that thread, too. Very difficult to find a a true 'best' though, just too many breathtaking shots.

Congrats to the winners!

Yeah it was definitely a tough call, and was hard enough just to narrow down my favorites. I like all the pics really.

Wow, thanks!

That picture from Dirtdiver really is a good one. Mine was really thrown in as an afterthought; it is one of those places that was much nicer there than a picture can convey. Here is another angle:

When I took the picture would have been a good time to swim there; it was at the end of the summer of an extraordinarily dry year. Look at the water stain from the high flow and spray during spring runoff. Just out of the picture on the left it drops down another fall through a narrow gap. And this is at the bottom of a canyon that is over 4000' deep.

I received the Vic Rucksack and Ritter PSP today - Thanks a bunch! These are quality and useful. I had never handled a Rucksack (or any other Vic in that particular pattern), it is much more than I was expecting. Again, thanks! First use will be this Friday and Saturday, I will be taking the scouts on an overnight trip.
