500th Post Giveaway

HWPB, I would have liked to seen more people try for a chance to win. The opportunity for more sub-forum folks to win far outweighs making my life easier running a giveaway. That was part of the learning experience for me, how do I get more people to participate? And still make it fun!

It was a fun contest, but I had just ordered an SG2 JYDII and a RAM so I would have felt bad if I won a free knife.

More people to participate: if "500 post giveaway" didn't work to well maybe it was just a slow week.

make it fun!: As for keeping it fun, an easy system to use (the time + rider worked well ) and something a little silly or unusual to guess. Maybe even a photchop contest.

Thanks for the recommendations an kind words HWPB. I've got a ways to go for 1,000 posts so hopefully I can come up with something creative by then.

That might be a little too subjective for the engineer in me. I'll definitely think about it though.

I think we should stick sporting events. They are more suspenseful and most people don't have cs3 or cs4 let alone the talent to do that stuff. Very few people could compete in them. Just my $.02

Well print out the photo you want to edit. Cut it, tape, use a marker whatever, and then use a scanner to upload the new picture.
