I salvaged some crotch crab apple from my son's fish smoking wood pile. A very dense and hard material. This wood has been drying for over a year and was stabilized in my shop with a mix of linseed oil and poly in a vacuum jar.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5260
Flat grind
Distal taper on the tang and blade
Hand sanded to 600 grit
Forge marks on the flats
Integral Guard
Crab apple handle
Overall length: 10 3/4 inches
Blade: 6 1/8 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

$165 -----SOLD----delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take a USPS money order a check with time to clear.

That's a great looking knife. Nice job!

On the second photo, next to the back pin, is that either a mark on the photo or something on the knife as opposed to a crack?

That might have been one tasty smoked fish. I'm glad you have a good eye for things like that.

I really like that knife. The guard being a part of the blade really lets the handle and flowing lines show through. I have been to Ashville, NC.. It is great country.

Drew, You are Awesome. Got it today and would like to order two more if possible, this knife is perfect in every way. Thanks Again
