52100 Heat treat Issues - Cracks

When I do my "15min" soak it's 15min from when I put the blade in the oven. My testing has shown 3-5min to reach temp. That's one reasion I let my oven soak for 1hr befor it gets a blade.

Ben, order the A2 if you like, but I would want to tackle this problem.
you should consider trying again on the 52100 with less grit scratches and rounding the corners IMO

What was the results of the conversation if you can repeat it. I have found flatground.com to have good D2 and A2 for a great price.
