I personally really like Bucks snap sheaths. This is looking pretty neat!

So, doing a test on the snap vs other proved that we could easily take the knife out without unclasping. Not sure why this is okay for this particular knife. Also, the feel of the other is premium vs the Buck sheath. Maybe if I didn't have a comparison point I wouldn't know any better.

Is the sheath isn't suitable for left handed carry, I am making myself one anyway, so in that case I wouldn't bother much about a better sheath.

Oh we are at the very least 8 weeks out. R&D and testing is all done, but Buck has been slower than normal this year. I'm hoping I still get to take the knife to Glacier this year.

Congratulations to the winner! I know it is late but I say save $10 and go with the standard sheath. I will get one either way though
