ouch! Although on small knives I finder the Strider-wrap too bulky anyway and a conventional wrap looks better on them too, you could try that . . . the knife looks handy and the temper-line is nioce.

Hey, Brian, thanks for the dig! Not only did I do it blindfolded, but also with both hands behind my back! Actually, I was in a pinch for material, and I didn't have time to strip the core and do an underlay, then the "strider" style wrap (tell that to Watanabe) over that, so yes, it looks a little low rent. I'm redoing it this weekend and pics will be updated Sunday, hopefully.
