I don't think I qualify as a regular contributor, but I thought I'd take the opportunity to show off a bit.

Charlie...thank you for my most cherished knife I own...bought directly from you and if it could talk it would tell many special stories:thumbup:

Please count me in...

Sorry I'm not a regular contributor to the Barlow thread because I don't own one even though I follow the thread. No offense intended, but I find it rather interesting the giveaway of a Barlow is to someone who already owns one as opposed to someone who is interested in acquiring one but doesn't own one to be able to post a picture of.

You don't have to own a barlow, to post a photo of a barlow!

That barlow thread has lots of participation from people just commenting on the lovely knives.

Charlie,
you might already know that Barlow knives aren't my cup of tea...yet I can't pass the opportunity to thank you for your generosity and for everything you do for us slipjoint lovers :)
Not an entry :)

Another favorite. The CAMCO 551. If I find a Barlow in decent shape for a good price at a gunshow, it's coming home with me.

after some kind advice and suggestions from more experienced members, ive recently had a barlow kick, and

not an entry, thank you for your generosity :)

Thanks for the chance Charlie! I love that scrolled bolster Schrade, it's got a lot of flavor.

This is one of my favorite barlows, definitely my favorite TC. As a gun lover, I had to have one that was made from a gunstock!

Glad to join in. I must admit you and the forum are in great part responsible of my interest for barlows. I discovered them when reading this forum. Though the shape is simple, there's nothing resembling being made around here and no import.

I have loved Barlows as long as I can recall. My first knife was a Barlow. Sadly, I went some years without one. I received this one in The Epic Barlow GAW, thank you Paul. I carry it most days, it just has a way of ending up in my pocket. Charlie, you give much to the knife world and are a true asset to this forum. Thank you.

Not an entry as I failed to post in this thread. It's fine just to read the interactions and view the many pics. An education.
A great GAW Charlie.

Not an entry. Don't qualify. Need a Barlow. Been looking for one, but I haven't been able to find "the one" and it be affordable.
OP, yours are very nice.

Well guys, it's noonish on Sunday and Charlie just called me to tell me I WON! What? Whadya mean I din' enter. Oh... darn.

Just kidding guys! Charlie did call me though and he's having computer issues and so is unable to log on and finish the GAW thing,
but he asked me to apologize for him and to tell you all that he will be back as soon as said issues can be resolved.

Hey Charlie, you still runnin' Windows 98? I'm no computer guru, but that OS might be outdated. Just sayin'. ;)

Anyway, he promised the prize will be well worth the wait! Good luck everyone! :D

His computer runs on a team of mastodons on a treadmill. They got tired and are VERY difficult to replace.

Awesome Charlie! I've been away from the forum for a couple of months as work got so busy, but I'm back and catching up!

This 77 has been in my pocket for a lot of the time away:
