$600 to spend for a hard use American Made Folder what do you pick?

Only stipulation is no G10 handles, only metal handles. And if possible prefer no frame locks but will consider them. I have a Benchmade 781 Anthem AXIS Lock on deposit waiting for it to released but I keep saving money and I am getting impatient for the wait so want to see what the knife people might come up with now that my budget has grown for possibly something else.
 
It has to be metal handles? 'Cause if you want hard use you should spend $600 on a used Demko.
 
You could save a few bucks and spring for a Freeman 451 button lock in a multitude of configurations or a Hogue button lock. Maybe the new X5 or the EX01?
I own 1 or 2 of each.
The X5 spearpoint has a robust tip, not sure about that wharnie looking thing.

Seriously Considered the Freeman 451 but multitude of videos showed weak detent when knife is closed and I did not like that.

I probably come across as shill, but grayman dua ti/ti, seriously nice knife, there's one on the exchange right now for $250. Or, if you don't mind aluminum, protech tr-4 manual.

Interesting but there Satu on there website shows out of stock. Don't want used.
 
Do you have any Chris Reeve knives? My small Inkosi is my favorite CRKHow about something from Michael Zieba; an S2? A little something from Chaves; perhaps a CAM Redencion?
 
There's always the XM18 and add a titanium scale. I'm partial to the Spanto blade for hard use.

I don't, the only one I really like is the Ti Lock but seems small. The others I will research I have never heard of them thank you for the suggestion.

If your doing that kind of job with a folder, I'd go with something shorter and thick bladed. A MKT comes to mind.
