#6375 Case Large Stockman

Got mine today, the covers are not exactly matching but I like it. This is my first 6375 and I really like the size.

Probably a very unpopular opinion. I think the colors on these Smokey Valley models is really beautiful, but I just can’t get past the Carbon 1095 stamped on the bolster. Little detail, but I just can’t. They are gorgeous knives other than that.

I get it, I actually like the stamp maybe because I’m glad it doesn’t have the cursive “Case” shield that I wish they’d change. That and the fact 1095 is new for Case, at least in the modern era.

That’s a good point about eh 1095 being new to them. And yeah, I don’t love the cursive Case shield of modern times.

I am also not a fan of the cursive CASE - give me the old time CASE shield for most of their knives. I do like the mid to late 1990’s block shield but have never warmed up to the cursive in 23 years of trying to. OH

Yeah mine is the same way with the covers. I like it really... A lot to look at with these

Normally I'd be right with you here but for some reason it doesn't bother me at all on this one. It looks prominent in the photos but in hand it doesn't really pop out at you.

I really like that there is no shield on these. Doesn't need it with the design and colors.

The Diamond shield would look good on any of these. I agree about the carbon stamping on the bolster, not keen, better on the blade tang.

I don’t mind the 1095 but old rather have a shield. No matter, I won’t order one anyways. They are right pretty though.

1940-64 6375 in great condition. My buddy scored this at an estate sale! Im super jealous! He found one of my grails. It looks way better in person too. Had to share it here because I know you guys would appreciate it!

HEMI 49 for being bold enough to send it to me in the geological wonderland of NSW....I think I should get a job at Case...ScaleMatcher....that way I can continue the tradition of having odd socks...but theres another pair in the drawer exactly the same..That said I'm liking my Smoky Valley Autumn Deep Canyon Bone Case Lge Stockman a lot....even if the descriptive name is almost as wordy as me.
