Nice one Barry. Not an entry for me tho because it's bad juju if I go in a giveaway whilst waiting on delivery of one I already won:D

Very cool giveaway. I've always liked bareheads and ebony. I've only recently started to appreciate spear blades, so I'm in, thanks.

Here's the one that showed me the usefulness of the spear:

I am currently on day 3 of not carrying any knife. I flew out to Montana to help a friend dice home from college, and didn't have the chance to buy a short term user. I have caught myself reaching for my 22, 15, or 65 several times on the 20+ hours of driving/riding since. I have run into at least 5 situations in which a knife would have been immensely useful, only confirming the necessity of a knife. I can't wait to have a good solid classic slip joint in my pocket again.

I'm in, thank you for your great site and this generous giveaway.

I'll play along on this one if nobody objects. After all that is one sexy looking knife. Thanks for the chance and good luck to all.

Oopsie! Misread the rules. Still, thanks for contributing so much to this forum, and not just through GAW's like these.

I am in even though it is probably bad MoJo as I am going to be GAW when I get to 1,000 Post ~~ but I look at it this way -- somebody has got to win.!!
Somebody is going to be a very lucky Lady or Gent in the near future.!**

Thanks for a great GAW! Flickr and I are having issues, so no pic. I'm in though.

That's a nice one you're giving away. Thank you for the opportunity, and for selling knives to us addicts.

Here's a picture of a knife I modified.

I'm in! Thanks for the chance on a great looking knife, Barry!

My latest, from Barry, just last week:

Sweet knife! Ebony is so classic. I have several of the source pattern in various brands and ages, and every time I dig them out I wonder how hard to would be to make one into a single blade barehead jack. Or even change the screwdriver/stripper blade into a pen blade.

Please count me in.

Here are some Hess fixed blades. They are made in the U.P. MI.

Oooo. Count me in! I've been thinking about doing one like this for awhile, but I need another project almost like I need another hole in the head. This would keep me from doing another project!!! :)

Thanks for all your comments, guys!:thumbup:

Meako, watch out fer them digits when wearin' that headgear! That thing could slip down over yer eyes! ;);)

HST - love the H&R stockman; that shield is my favorite!

Nice mod on the 85, Sogflash, that is one of my very favorite patterns. :D

Tom, those Hess fixed blades are very cool; I've been chicken eye'n those beauties for some time. Maybe I'll take the plunge. If only I had a few more Barkies.

Jeff, I know exactly how you feel. "Why, oh why did I sell that knife?" :stupid: One of my dumber moments was when I sold my last single spear blade ebony PPP Charlow. "What was I thinkin'?" :sorrow::sorrow:
