I have that yellow handled one too and of course it came from you. It is really a nice knife. Count me in on the giveaway.

Jeff, I know exactly how you feel. "Why, oh why did I sell that knife?" :stupid: One of my dumber moments was when I sold my last single spear blade ebony PPP Charlow. "What was I thinkin'?" :sorrow::sorrow:

If I had enough money to keep all the knives I have traded over the years, somehow I don't think I would be as addicted. It seems like a never ending cycle. I will get content for a few days/weeks even months but it comes to an end. Here I am back again for more. My names Jeff, and I am certainly a knife-aholic!! Thanks for enabling Barry :)

I don't know what to post other than to say that's something of a dream knife for me. Thanks for the chance!!

Thought I'd post an ancestor to that lovely jack you are giving away, Barry.
Nice GA!!
Camillus doesn't get the respect it should!!

Not an entry - just didn't want to miss the fun!!

Nice Barry, thanks for the chance, here's a shot of my wife's niece and nephew as we were leaving their house, they got up and came to the front of the steps, they fell out of the light and became silhouettes so I grabbed my camera and took a quick shot, back in the days of Tri-X film...

Charlie and Charles, you guys are making me drool over those old beauties! Fantastic stuff.

Gary, that is a very interesting shot. Makes me wish my old 35mm SLR wasn't stolen. Can't seem to squeeze enough out of my knife budget to invest in one of the new digital SLRs, so I'll keep usin' my old Cannon Power Shot until she quits. Most the finish is worn off and I dropped it once on my concrete drive and the case popped apart, but I snapped it back together and it still works most of the time.

I suspect you might someone with a film 35mm SLR that would be willing to make a trade with you.

Very nice conversion of the TL-29; a before picture of one of it's brothers. OH

Thanks Barry, I'd love a chance at that beauty. Here's a pic of lunch with my case stockman.

OK, so why was *669* your magic number? I just got to 666 and hurried up and did 667 although it is bad luck to be superstitious.

Not an entry although that knife is beautiful.

Thanks for the giveaway. Ebony has become my favorite scale material.

Just for fun a photo from my day trip today.

If it isn't too late, I'd love to get in on this one! I don't have a single ebony handled knife in my collection, but the photo you posted is my inspiration to try re-handling a slipjoint. I have a couple pieces of purpleheart at home and I'm going to try to cook up something for my wife with it!

Here's a pic of two of my newly acquired Boy's knives. I love these simple, slim little guys!

Thanks for the chance!

OK, so just to bump this thread and see if anybody else wants to enter, and we'll go ahead and end it Sunday night at midnite.

Thanks everyone and good luck!

I know I can't enter twice but wanted to chime in on two things. Man o man, I can't remember a single give away I've been so anxious about. What a great looking knife. Second, I can't believe more people haven't signed up. I'm glad they haven't. Would just dilute the odds. But still surprised.

Regardless of the outcome, thanks again for running a gem of a give away.

Gorgeous job and generous giveaway, I wasn't gonna enter but the more I looked at that knife the more I liked it and wanted it, so I'm in. :)

Here's a pic of the 2008 Northwoods BFC Traditional Forum's medium Stockman,, one of my favorite forum knives.
