Just finished this one up, and thought I'd share. The razor is .265" thick Crucible CPM154, in a 7/8 height 'smiling' format, satin finish hollow grind with everything else polished, and some slick 'ripe banana' vintage micarta I got from Josh Rider.

Phosphor bronze washers to keep things moving smoothly, and some gold screws in the pivot to finish it all off.

Thanks for looking!

I can't help but compliment you on that blade profile, I stared at it for a good two minutes imagining myself shaving with it. It's a beauty.

I'm not familiar with the razor terminology but I'll bet that's a sharp muther....beautiful grind and polish and of course the ripe banana. :)

Very nice Matthew - I'm going to have to look into making some of these. What wheel diameter do you grind the primaries with and what thickness do you grind down to? Does .010" sound about right?

Thanks, everyone!

TK, this is ground on an 8" wheel, and brought below .001" before honing. My micrometer just registers something. There's almost nothing at the edge. Honing it actually brings it back to a couple thousandsth thick.
