The spacer is affixed with two hidden pins and a structural aerospace adhesive. In my testing, I experienced material failure before the adhesive failed, meaning the micarta shredded from the force - the bond remained. Strong stuff!

i see how a wedge grind can be tricky and that full hollow 2 inch wheel is really fun to get right so i like doing the 10 inch to 5 inch thin out for most avg razors users
 
I imagined myself shaving with this and it was glorious.... then I remembered that I grew my beard to hide the double chin and instantly regretted it. Thanks a lot, Matt... for reminding me that I have a double chin!

Nice 'Zor ... seriously. I can almost smell that handle. Wash your hands, bud.
