It's been a while! Remember these?

:D
I love Barlows, and I love Washingtons just as much.
Fancy flat/square bolsters just trim out a pocket knife exquisitely!!
And flat beveled knives just exude class, in my eyes!
It's OK to use a simple, reliable knife for your cutting tasks, but a knife dressed up like these puts the pizzaz in life!!

Schrade helped bring this style into the modern era in the 1920s, along with other savvy cutleries. Interesting to note that Schrade held on for many years, when others went out of business!

We brought this version back many months ago, and I display them where I can see them from my desk! I even throw one in my pocket for fancy occasions!

The knife tempter writes. :) Beautiful knives. I'm looking forward to owning a couple. Thanks again Charlie and GEC for another great knife design execution.

I love the Washington Jacks. I've yet to score one, though. I'm a sucker for a good spear point, too! These look great, Charlie...very, very nice!

When is this version coming down the pipe? I need to get in on an early reserve for a couple if I still can.

Edit: Dang it, just saw the Early Reserve is closed on Mike's site. Looks like I'll be watching the FS forum for these after their release!

I am ridiculously excited about these, Charlie! The WJ/HJ combo is a real slam dunk!

Only thing I'm sad about is no smooth stag on this run. :grumpy:

Great looking pieces!
Thanks for bringing the Good Ol' Patterns back from the abyss. :) It is so nice to see the old vintage knives made nowadays with great care and knowledge.

Unfortunatelly I won´t be able to afford any of the wonderful knives shown here in this place - you know, a family can´t be fed on knives but on food :)

I´m looking forward seeing them around here.

Mark, the handle choices are Smooth Blood Red Bone, Smooth Ivory Bone, Smooth Autumn Gold Bone, Cocobola and Gabon Ebony!

Wonderful knives Charlie! Thank you for bringing them into the world.

Alas, I am sure all the dealers have been bombarded with emails since they were announced weeks back. If not, I am sure they have been in the three hours of this thread. Maybe my path will cross with a Smooth Ivory Bone down the road one day.

Until then, I will enjoy the flooding of pictures. Maybe they will be coming out around the time the leaves change. Should make a great wave of pics if so. :)

Lookin GOOD Charlie Brown!!:thumbup::thumbup:
You know I'm on the HJ like a chicken on a June bug !!

I was waiting to see what was going to be different on this run of Washington Jacks. That spear blade rocks, and on the HJ as well, double sweet.

I was hoping the Harness would be completely different in design to the Washington Jack with possibly a throwback to the harness jacks of old and the harness seated flush with a cutout as Charlie did with the #15 Harness Jacks. This one seems to ride a little bit high. I'm sure this one will be nice too when I finally get a cocobolo in hand~

Thank you all for the enthusiasm! This is a favorite project! I hope everyone who wants one, gets one! I did up the numbers a bit.

Great old Boker, Jake!
I like everything about it.
Sarah, that shield is nicely designed; I'm right there with you!

Thank you for the compliments on the knife.

Here's an old c1910s HSB catalog scan of a couple others. The Boker is about the same size as the GEC #77. These two OVB are much larger knives but look similar otherwise.
