#77 Washington Street!!

Not many apples to pick this year. These white pumpkins offered a good photo opportunity with my Washington Jack.

It's getting a bit worn looking. I've polished off the blade patina a good few times. The shield and bolsters are still shiny, but starting to look a bit satin with indoor lighting.

8 years or so with this one. It was in my pocket over 7 years ago when my son was born. It's starting to look pretty well aged.. I guess we are both looking pretty well aged together :D. Hard to tell from pictures, most the polish is gone.. shield is a satin finish now. Blade is a dark gray.. it's been sharpened and patina removed many times. Still closes like a bear trap and opens with the perfect amount of effort for me. At this point there's no reason why it won't last a lot longer. It's been used a good amount and I guess it's a testimate to the quality product GEC makes.
