Well...the one I just got from him at Blade is 80CrV2, so I am thinking he must have decided that he likes it. I am definitely liking the knife

I think it is perfect, and looking forward to seeing how this steel does.

The one my wife picked up is a bit smaller, very sweet with a peened pommel, but her's is 5160.
