888knivesrus or 888-leeches-r-us?

Nice quote Brian! Very appropriate.

While I don't condone the practice, I also don't think that the selling of knock-offs is hurting Emerson or the other makers one bit. Anyone buying one of these knives that thinks he/she is getting as good a knife most likely would not have purchased the original version anyway.

I agree completly with you Brian C. We are currently experiencing that situation where we sent a product we made to a dealer and now he is claiming that it is his product.
"an honest man can look you in the eye and face any accusation. If he's wrong he himself will admit and correct himself."

Realy nice Quote, HaysKnives.

I try to live with that one. Whose Quote is it?

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

Hold on a minute, HaysKnives. Either I wasn't very clear or we are living in alternative universes. If anyone doesn't know what I am referring to, take a look at this thread in which Ambassador, a.k.a. Haysknives, is advertising copies of ATC's products. It sorta puts your "market freedom" comments into perspective, doesn't it?

Thanks for clarifying the quote, Cougar. It appears that Hays/Ambassador is quite the spin doctor. I mean no offense to the religious among us but, when someone starts quoting the bible, I pay particular attention to my six.

In the case of the Emerson Commander Rip-Off that 888knivesrus, whatever the name is...was selling...

The Wave Opener [Remote Pocket Opener] is what is patented. So changing the knife, ripping off the handle/body/grip of the Custom Crawford, Production CRK&T Kasper Fighting Folder and that being the 20 to 25% change means NOTHING.

The Wave Opener is 100% ripped off.

Everything America should not be. And people think they are good Americans for ripping others off. Good grief.

Yup, Don. As I said in the What's New Forum, integrity does not mean "what can I get away with?" Either a person has honor or they do not. I think HaysKnives has demonstrated where they stand.

After reading the posts I have one question....Why are the honor, integrity, and honesty only being looked at on only one side of the fence?

mtwolverine, if you want to discuss honor & integrity, start with an explanation. You just registered & your first two posts were a thinly veiled shill for Ambassabor. On second thought, never mind the discussion. I know what I need to know.

Brian C-
"veiled shill" I don't think so. I do not represent, nor speak for Ambassador, or vice versa. I am an individual who asked a simple question. I was not casting shadows towards either side of the fence. I was just asking why the shade wasn't equal on both sides of the fence.

Oh, no? Well it's quite a coincidence then that you're from Montana and, according to your profile, your occupation is "machine operator (for tomahawks and knives)."

It may seem like a coincidence, but I do not represent Abassador. I do operate machines. In this area there are a number of them. I have machined parts for autos, turbochargers, and hunting equipment. And within a short drive there are probably four or five shops that make knives. I do not have first hand knowledge of what is taking place here and was just wondering how people can choose sides without having first hand knowledge. To avoid confusion I did clarify my profile.

mtwolverine,

I remain dubious about your intent.

Your IP address, posts, thread selections, and times you have posted all coincide with issues pertaining to American Tomahawk and Ambassador Manufacturing, a.k.a. "Hays Knives" and nothing else. This information has further been reviewed by the owners of BladeForums.com

What caused you to even look at this thread regarding 888knivesrus?

Further, upon being copied in an e-mail to our attorney regarding your very first posting on BladeForums, your lack of a response only reinforced our findings.

To make this easy, either identify yourself or feel free to call me right now and we will square this away. Suzanne in customer service will give you my cell phone number.

For those who find such things entertaining, mtwolverine posted an interesting shill in http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=183941 -- at least it's a change from the usual "Look at this cool website I just found!!!" I think he might be an employee rather than another alias of Ambassador / Haysknives -- could the same person who wrote the Ambassador / Haysknives posts have written that relatively subtle shill?

Haysknives=Ugly. Very ugly.
Deceptive advertising will make you a loser in the end.
I (and my friends) will not buy your products at any price!!!

Clean up your act.Look up the words Honor and Integrity in the
dictionary & learn something.

Brian C. and Andy P.

I must say, OUTSTANDING...let me tell you two something, I have seen people on here get their balls busted bad. But what you two just did was the apex of ballbusting.

I cannot believe this moron would come on here and put "Montana" as his place of residence and then have what he had in his profile.

I guess...that made it easy for you guys, but still...his own stupidity led to a stupendous BUST.

I cannot believe some people.

Further, I will NEVER buy anything from these people. EVER. I cannot even afford an ATC right now but I would NEVER buy something blatantly ripped off even if I could afford it instead of the real deal.
