940-1 vs 940-1501

The 940-1501 is my newest and best fit/finish 940 I now have. Nothing wrong with my other two 940's this 1501 is just at the next level. The action is the smoothest of all three, the grind is just perfect as it gets and blade alignment dead center also. Really nice knife overall and I do like the G10 Black/blue scales personally. Mine are more black then blue I know it varies knife to knife some color wise.

The CPM-20 steel looks like it has a much more polished mirror looking edge vs the CPM-90 I have with my new 940-1 if that matters to a person. Time will tell, but something tells me I'm going to prefer the CPM20 over the 90 from my first impressions.

The ZT 0770 M4 and BM 940-1 both arrived today and I’m very happy with both of them.

Not much to say on the 940-1 like the other 940’s out there it has to be one of the top EDC knives made right now. Lite, thin and a great blade length/shape.

Having owned several ZT knifes I can say they have been rock solid for me. The 0770 just shaves some oz’s of the design making it Alittle more EDC friendly compared to some of my heavier ZT models. The M4 steel and blade shape seems to really grab and slice anything it makes contact with it’s a interesting design.

I added both to my current models I like carry at work, hiking and out on the town.

What is the knife between the bark river and the 940 on the bottom row?

It is a Boker Orion 2065 carbon fiber and Crystalline Titanium blade.
It's a crazy lite weight knife and not very hard to sharpen. It however doesn't hold a edge long. Coolness factor is high , not the best heavy use model more of a light duty carry knife .

Although I prefer my 940-1 because I think it's prettier and and slightly lighter, my -1501 has a slightly better grind on the blade and is just a little smoother and tighter as far as action and lock up go. Not much, but it's noticeable. I've owned and sold off a lot of knives, just about all the famous Chris Reeve and Spyderco folders and quite a few fixed blades as well. Those are all gone now and I don't miss any of them (well maybe...) since discovering the 940s. These days I either carry one of my 2 940s or a Bugout.
