940-1601 Cabelas Exclusive

Sold all my Benchmades but my 940-1, i cant see this being almost same price and getting D2 and wood instead of full carbon and s90v
 
This model is maybe my next 940 grab. I really like the look of the wood/carbon togather. Yes the price point is a bit off in my mind also having the D2 blade. Nothing wrong with D2 it's a fine knife steel and I have a benchmade knife with D2 and it's a cutting machine very impressive. Its just this model sales at a premium price point so I feel it needed M4 at least maybe even CPM20 or 90v.

I agree with you, but that is a retailer-driven thing, not a Benchmade thing. Cabela's is all about D2 steel.
