940-2 opinions??

I love this and hope they continue to make more versions with different colors. The new 940-2 will be black g10/green barrel spacers/s30v

But only in their black & blue G10. I wouldn't mind frankensteining the two honestly. Black handle with CPM-20CV blade.

I welcome a more subtle approach; the KW black and blue didn't do it. If this is true, and not a limited, it will be very popular model. Green spacers are a nice touch!

Very nice but I'm also a big fan of the 940 series. What's not to like: S30V, contoured G-10, green anodized spacers and $170.

I like. Since my 12 year old recently got my 940 that he's had his eyes on for the past year, I've been looking for a new Benchmade. Didn't want to get another 940...not that I don't like it, just wanted to maybe try something different. Been thinking about the Amicus...maybe it would be what I hoped the 477 would be. But worried that it, too, is probably too large for business casual carry. Same with the Foray, with that size and weight it would be relegated to carry in jeans - a weekend knife only. Nice to be sure...but I need something for Monday - Friday.

The ZT 450 and Kizer 3403... they were in the running, as were the Boker Mini Kwaikens.

But I think this new 940 might be the answer. It now has open construction, and cool green spacers. And while I didn't mind the aluminum on the 940, and loved the green, I really like G10. Yeah, I think this is it. Just like the original 940, but better.

I wonder if they could start a customizing process that let you pick between some custom backspacers? Orange, blue, red, titanium, green, yellow would be nice. Just thinking out loud.
