950-1401 and 950-1401BK Rift Exclusives

I've compared the orange on this knife's scales to the orange G10 scales that are on my 915 Triage. The Rift appears to have more of a burnt orange appearance vs. the bright orange on the Triage. I don't know if it is actually a different color orange or just appears this way because it is layered with black but it is certainly darker.

I'd say the Rift has University of Texas orange while the Triage has University of Tennessee orange.

Here is an indoor and outdoor photo which hopefully shows the difference.

I didn't know the barrel spacers were going to be orange! That's a nice added bonus.

Go Longhorns only because my niece just graduated from there! :)

While the Triage may have the brighter orange I think the orange on the Rift may not "look" so bright due to the surrounding black!

Very cool knife. I'm boycotting bm but I guess seeing as how this one is actually CHEAPER than the standard version it's ok ;-)

Thank you, but these were just iPhone pictures. Fortunately knives tend to be fairly easy to photograph. If anyone would like to see any additional specific angle or close-iPhone detail, please let me know.

Mine came today too. I really love the orange in the scales and the orange backspacers are awesome. I really like the Rift, I'm glad to see a really cool LE run like this.
 
The anodized spacers are the kicker too

I love the rift, I'm okay with orange, something special! Something different ;)
 
Whoa, this one is sick. The site mentions a satin version becoming available as well. Always looking for orange knives to carry in October so it is either black blade or satin. Big decision! ;)
 
The pressure was too much. Would prefer D2 or even better, but I had to order this while it was available.

As a Halloween knife and to match up with the black in the G-10 this knife begs to have a black blade!
 
I think you fellas are right. Pretty stoked on this orange and black G10 -and looking forward to Halloween season :D:thumbup:
 
I would imagine that in a couple of months we will see a few pictures of these doing pumpkin carving duty.
