...what would you do with the thousand dollars? I was thinking about this the other day... As for me, i am not very ssure what i would do.... just figured i would ask everyone...
 
Since you are posting this in the Survival forum then; A good .357 revolver, a Deer rifle, a new knife or ax, lots of ammo etc.
You could get several of the items I listed for $1K.

For me right now I would go for a new bolt action .308 (Remington 700ish) and I would squeeze in a 1WT ultralight fly rod set up from Cabela's ( Flyfishing may not be the most efficient survival method but who cares).
 
Set up yet another BOB or better yet, I would buy a TAD Gear Alpha pack, Daniel Koster WSK and an Airkat TORK NVTR Moni Tor or Skor Pin.:thumbup:

Now, the way the question was asked, what would you do with the grand in a survival situation where it was worthless as money. It don't burn worth a hoot, and is really too slick to be good toilet paper. I guess I'd roll some bills up tight and use them for a wick in a betty lamp.

There's the question Reconseed: do I have to use it to buy my way out of a tight spot...rural drug dealers or survival equipment...or can I convert it into lapdance money?

Ok Reconseed, I see I missed the point. I'll buy $1000 of .22 ammo and hide in the basement.
