  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

A Becker-Lover's Favorite Folders?

My favorite folders out of the ones I own. There's hundreds I want but out of the ones I own, my favorites would have to be my spyderco paramilitary 2 and my ZT0301. Amazing knives. If SAKs are considered folders, I'd have to throw my Farmer in there aswell. The 301 is probably the top one though.

It was a toss up for me between the ZT 0301 and the 0550. They both look amazing. I hear that the grips on the 301 are really nice.

When it comes to folders, Zero Tolerance all the way. Love the strength and beauty of the blades. Spyderco's and benchmades don't do it for me. They feel a little too weak in comparison to ZT.

Wait, is that rack set up in your bathroom????

More and more, I only like my fixed blades. However, I'm still a big fan of Benchmade's Axis lock, so I often carry a Grip or Mini-Grip. I'm eyeballing the new Adamas folder, which is in the ZT200 size range.

For a smaller edc for cutting boxes and opening envelopes and such, I love the Kershaw Leek.

I try never to leave the house without my ZT0300 and normally in a pocket someplace is my Kershaw OSO Sweet.

I never stray far from the Spyderco Endura. Been carrying one since 1992 or so and they have never let me down.

Been using a Buck Vantage Pro quite a bit lately G10 and S30V

'favorite' and 'what I carry' are two different things.
In addition to whatever fixie is on my belt, I carry a Boker Hyper most of the time. It's short, flat, and has a very secure clip. Despite its size, its width makes it easy to hold onto.

I'm partial to the alox SAKs.

However, I quit carrying folders three months ago.

Most comfortable folder I own (or have ever owned) - Spyderco Native. It's sharp as heck and feels (so far anyway) to be rock solid. I really like that it's US made...

... but my Vic Huntsman (got it for $25 on sale a while back) goes with me just about everywhere just about all the time...
