Good day, Beckerheads and fellow enthusiasts.

Yes, you read the title correctly, this is a giveaway, one that is long overdue...

Please read the following instructions carefully:
  1. This giveaway is open to numbered Beckerheads only. (However, if you are close to being able to achieve such lofty status or are a regular contributor here, we can have a meeting of the minds and make an exception.)
  2. If you meet the above criteria, state, "I am in!" with your BH# in the thread below and include a picture of your favorite Becker knife as well as a brief statement that involves what influences or draws you the most to Ethan Becker's designs.

I will ship worldwide but please be aware of any and all knife laws that may or may not prohibit such a fine piece of steel.

This giveaway is complements of Becker West, Ka-Bar, and ultimately, the man himself, Ethan Becker.

Now for the prize:

The grand prize includes:
  1. Brand new BK-10 Crewman (Includes sheath and box)
  2. 1x Ka-Bar Patch
  3. 1x Ka-Bar Sticker
5 runner-ups will each receive a Ka-Bar sticker.

I will let this run for a couple weeks and then will draw names at random. Perhaps I might enlist the help of my youngsters in the drawing.

Otherwise, enjoy and good luck to all!

Very classy move, Pàdruig Pàdruig . Thank you for this opportunity.

I am in (*kind of). Proud Beckerhead #700

That’s a pic of my two current favorite knives (not only do they look pretty together, they sure compliment each other nicely). What can I say about the King that hasn’t already been said? It’s my favorite knife. Period. I’ve been looking for a blade like this for a long time. It’s powerful and nimble, the full package. I gotta mention the revered Ethan Becker handle and their often imitated but never duplicated ergonomics. That’s the grip you want while swinging a blade, it gives confidence.

*I wanted to participate in spirit, cause this GAW rocks! Please remove me from the drawing and give these generous treats to someone else.

nice one!
not in as I already have a BK10.
but here's my favorite BKT knife - my stripped & patina'd 16 w/Oregon Faller osage orange scales.

my BK24 is a close second - but it's not nearly as pretty.

best of luck to the winner - thanks to all who are making the giveaway possible!

I’m in!

My favorite becker, the king!

What draws me to Beckers is the value. You are getting unmatched value when it comes to these knives. Hell, they work for a living! The creativity and good nature of the community is a huge draw as well.

I did get hold of a saber or scandi grind sixteen that seems pretty cool to me. It lives in this pack for now.
I like Beckers cause the full tang handles beat the snot out of lesser types, and they can be bought for less than offspring and appendages. (usually) :D

I'm in; BH395.

I don't meet the criteria. Somehow I've never become a Beckerhead but I still want to thank you for doing this. The 10 has always looked to me to be a great knife.
Edit: you guys are incredible. My favorite? The 5. Why? Ethan Becker and Jerry Fisk. And it is simply a cutting machine.
Thank you.

Very Generous of you Padruig :thumbsup: not in :) I have a 10. Good luck to everyone
The 2 was my first Becker. It won me over with it's industrial look. The comfort of the handle and what it could do made think this Knife could handle anything. My curiosity took off wanting all of them :D Somehow I found this place and lurked for some time . Finally after seeing how Ethan handles things I got the courage to join so I could give him a few compliments :). The first response or close to it Warrior called me Kissass :D. Lurking and seeing how this place is I took it as a compliment  the people here are all GREAT and so are Becker Knives. They are all my favorites I like each and everyone. They TRULY are ;). Here's some of my favs.

Very generous Dylan! I am in, but if it's ok with you I'd like to pass it on to Mack Mack , he's a regular member of the BeckerWest gatherings and IMO an honorary Beckerhead already, and mainly I think he would get more use out of a BK-10 than myself seeing the Becker knives I already own and use. Your call of course.

My number is #374

My favorite Becker is easily the BK20, I don't think Ethan could have made a better universal knife if he tried.

I have been drawn to Becker knives for two reasons. One, they are the perfect blend of useful, sturdy, comfortable, and affordable and offer a perfect blend of qualities to folks of all levels and skills; Two is that Ethan is a stand-up gentlemen worthy of all the funds I can afford to throw at him, and has also gathered a following of probably the nicest people in the knife world on average.

I’ve never made the effort to get a Beckerhead number either, and I can’t possibly tell you what my favorite Becker is, unless you let me go with the 16451591214.

Very generous giveaway Pàdruig Pàdruig . Good on ya.

Great entries so far, guys, keep them coming!

Both of you guys have hundreds of posts in the Becker sub and as far as I am concerned, that makes you contributors. It is why I wrote in the caveat highlighted in my quote below. I figured there were going to be some folks who had not made it official though they would certainly qualify. If anybody (namely senior members here) have any objections, they can let me know. Otherwise, I plan on including you both in the drawings.

This goes for anyone here who might feel that they contribute to this sub but have not yet applied for a number. It doesn't hurt to chime in at least. The worst that can happen is we say, "Keep at it, try next time."

Awesome GAW Pàd, I’m in!

My favorite Becker has to be the sweet sixteen. It was my entry into the Becker world o’ knives, and led me to this forum and the fine people here. It was the perfect size, shape, and price point when I was searching for a fixed blade for hiking. What kept me around was the people on this forum, and especially being able to interact with Ethan himself. His passion and genuineness really came through, and I became a lifelong fan.

Beckerhead #365, reporting in from the Great White North…

I'm fine with you including Mack in the drawing -- if anyone does complain, I can change my post to an entry - and if it's drawn, send him the prize.
(That way Matt can keep his entry for himself if he wants)
as I recall, at one point it was decreed that folks who owned BKT knives and attended Beckerhead Gatherings were by definition Beckerheads - especially if they had met E at one.
