A Ben Seward Bodyguard For Blade WIP

I like it.

That's a superb work you guys....

At least it wasn't black Micarta for STeven's sake....;)

Thanks guys

Should make for a delightful carry piece and truly live up to its name

Don't worry about STeven he will come around :)

Especially the way things rust in his neck of the woods

That turned out very nice. Good job Ben! Congratulations Joe, it will look great with the revolvers! Even without the testing pics I have no worries on its performance, I have cut with Ben's knives before.

Chris

Thanks again guys

Some designs just really appeal to me

Bens Bodyguard series really stands out to me

Like Lurquins Hurak series I'm sure they will be destined to be a classic :)

This one do to handle material and guard material is a standout

Come by the DISKIN USA Booth at Blade and check it out

Had a nice cloudy morning for natural light. This shows the micarta for what it is. STeven'll have to pardon the micarta guard;). It's durable for application and gives the tuxedo effect we were after:)

What's the grip on your wheel gun?

Paul I'm thinking high ride black sharkskin cross draw :)[/QUOTE]

Much better pic! Love that cream color on the grip.

Wish I had time to make one to carry at my wedding. I'm really liking the black/white tuxedo look...I'll be packing my blacked out Bodyguard Stealth instead:(

Ben congrats on the wedding :)

STeven likes the G10 he just didn't want it to be micarta :)

Those grips on the 357 are white linen micarta layed up by Matt Diskin and fine by Jimmy Badger

Perfect set :)

Love it!

I really enjoy that color combo on this piece. Also, that second picture really shows off the beauty of your work so much better, doesn't look dark or "dingy" anymore.. I think you ought ta move to a more cloudy place, Ben! :p :D ;)

Great job! I also really like your dress carry theme, Joe, very classy.

Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks Paul

I've always been a sucker for white handles .... Must be the pimp in me :)

I can rember bring in love with a white micarta handled Al Mar Fang when I was a kid

Ben congrats on the wedding :)

Perfect set :)

Micarta lacks the hardness and abrasion resistance of G10 by far, which is why I don't like it for guards, seems you have to polish it constantly when it goes in and out of a sheath.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Every great knife needs a great sheath

It is 50 % of the equation

A great knife without is a letter opener :)

This knife has made it to the great P Long and the pattern is already done

I have been blessed to have the kind of relationship with Paul that I can sway him in to doing some neat things for me

We have really come up with some very neat ways to carry knives

Drop sheaths imho suck

They are a way of carrying knives that really does not work for my type and style of carry

I'm going to post this idea here and I will demonstrate it with a video when I receive this knee and it will also be at the Blade show with me

I am hoping this system works as good as I think it will :)

more to come ....in black shark
