  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

A bit rough on the outside

Well looks plety tough and durable to me thats for sure. Nice work Ken!

Thanks guys .

I'm just trying to eliminate all unnessasary time and effort on these pocket clip sheaths , but still achieve a clean final product .
For example I didn't sand , round off and burnish the edges like I would normally do , I just used the edge bevel and spent two minutes with some sandpaper to knock off any rough bits .
I quite like the effect and as I've discovered over time the edge burnishes itself with use and abuse .
Not dyeing is a first for me and I really wonder apart from the obvious color difference why I ever bothered with dye .
I could never quite understand Dave why you are such a great fan of it , now I think I know why .
I'm still trying to perfect the design of how high to have the pocket clip and so far it seems the deeper the carry the better which is opposite of what I started with .

I have done a search on forum but can't locate Paul Long. I have any ideas?
