Got most of the shaping done on the scales....trying to decide if I can pull off hidden pins. Might be more precision required than I can handle (bad pun)...

Nicely done! I've done file work before and I know it's tedious and takes a ton of patience and determination. Like, "do I really want to keep doing this even though my wrist is about to implode?". And, to do scales on top of that? Yikes! Lol. Guess that's what is all about though. Looks good brutha :thumbup:

I like the pins better than hidden.
Excellent.
The maple liners look like 'spalted' brass and match the brass pins.
A 'golden' patina would really set it off.
