A blast from the past

Hey Vamp, I agree with you about the laws and personal protection. When I have to go in some part of town I'm not thrilled with I'm always packing something just in case.
Anyway what I thought of when I noticed you were out west is friends of mine from the western US have told me that there are some pretty awsome flea markets around with not only deer heads and lamps but, rifles, pistolas and "knives".It might be worth checking out. Good Luck.

D,

What about the Cold Steel Taipan? That one's a looker. It has a 7 1/2" blade though.

Don't have any advice, just a welcome back:D :D

and yeah, I remember you!:)

Good to have you back:D

Yeah, I'm definatly busy. Come on uncle I'm young, but I wouldn't quite say a "kid". At least young man, geez. ;) Anyway I think I will go with the Sykes - Fairbairn, it pretty much has what I want. Would the Lansky(?) sharpening system work? Also where can I get a custom nylon sheath made?

- D

Look for the Applegate Fairbairn BOOT knife. It's shorter and still good size. Stay away from the F-S Commando dagger. I picked one up for $60, mint, though and it was worth it to have a classic. The cast zinc handle's got to go, though, and the blade is too thin.
