Thanks, Charlie!

What an elegant little penknife. The swedge and the top of the Radium etch in the original closed photo is what intrigued me. Searching Boker and radium led me to info on another knife site, but since our moderators might not want me to link to AAPK, I'll paraphrase. The Curies discovered radium in 1898, Boker trademarked it for knives in 1904, and used it from about 1909-1929. So an elegant, OLD penknife. Is it MOP or remarkably preserved celluloid? I see you've already matched it with a well worn pocket slip. A classy 100 year old working piece of history. Waynorth is indeed a very good man and a generous friend. People like you, and him, and Jack Black, etc. make this such a pleasant, informative, and inviting forum. Wishing all of us a Happy and Healthy New Year 2022.

Here is my Pride and joy absolutely perfect in ever way. I couldn’t of hand picked a better one 👍🏻 Smooth transitions at the bolsters, No proud pins , centered blades and wonderful walk and talk. Yes ladies and gentlemen this is one of Cases finest examples :)

Thank you, I appreciate the extra info on the Boker "Radium"👍

I like to have an assortment of different blade shapes, so when I carry a large single-bladed knife, I pair it with a smaller multi-bladed knife. This big white Barlow looks good with just about anything. I took a few pre-patina pics, posing with GEC watch pocket knives.

So the Logo "Radium" sort of commemorates the Curies and their discovery!! Great info, Marantz! Thanks for finding that reference!!
