A Boy's First Knife

Thanks all for the comments on the knife. We both are pretty happy with it.

:thumbup: for the Slurpee! A good slurpee is what every boy needs to grow up strong.:thumbup::thumbup:

Old cups. We use them for water. The kids didn't want to get rid of them because they have the 3D graphics on them.

Looks like something for him to pass on down to your grandchildren one day. Each time he handles that knife or uses it in front of some friends of his, he will have stories to tell how an idea came to be. What a great looking son. You have skills to pass down to a very appreciative apprentice. Good looking knife, tell him congratulations from Loosearrow.

Excellent work (as usual) !
:thumbup::thumbup:
So i guess you are a pretty cool dad!
Of course the next thing is to get him hooked on axes/hatchets as well!
:D

That's another awesome piece of work there, hope ya son realises how lucky he is !!!!

I just got to view this one in person. Brian did a fantastic job on this knife:thumbup: The logo he has on the blade is really cool too.

Nick:)

That is really nice, he will treasure that forever. I know I still have my first knife, though it is not quite as nice as that ;)

Brian, trademark the name,'Boy's/Girl's First Knife' with your 'Off the Map Brand, and it'll be your's forever. All you need to do is be the first company using the name and selling under it. you can even include (tm) with the name(s) and legally be protected by copyright law. It only cost money if you decide to Register the name, I deal with this a few times a year assisting companies with marketing issues.

Nice project, great execution, lasting memories.... A sharp knife does not slip instruct your wife, a dull one is harder to control. I bet if you made a bunch in blue or pink scales they would sell out to the BF crowd with youngsters in their midst!

Very nice knife Brian :D
Can we see some photos of him using it? Always nice to see young ones doing something with their time other than video games and texting :)

Absolutely. I have lots of pictures using his others knives, but you are right on this one. I need some with the new one. I will do that soon.
