Which one is the folder in the "more pics" between the funny looking one and the spike?
 
OZRAB, it is three pictures of the same folder from different angles.(#2,3,4)
The "funny" one also folds.
It becomes anything but funny when it unfolds.

What is the spiked kubotan made of? Is the spike removable? Can the unit be taken apart for maintenance? Is the spike always exposed? Thanks for your time.
 
WICKED SHARP, I am not really sure, but it looks like the shaft is made out G10, the butt cap and front spike are hard metal.
The kubaton is one piece and does not come apart.
It is rather light, but knowing who made it, probably can stand up to any abuse.
It comes with plastic cover for the spike.
