A bunch of Knob Creek Pics.....

Hey, how come we didn't get any Combat Grade SFNOs ????

Maybe SFNOs are better suited for Eastern terrain???

That's 15,000 BTW. Winners in the Giveaway to be announced next week.

I see what jerry is saying about these knives based on your picture. they definitely look like more of a first attempt type design, when compared to the more finished and contoured selections present around them. If I bought one, I'd probably end up remaking a set of handle slabs that had a front talon hole style guard on them, becuase the curve thats there doesn't look like enough for me to feel safe using it. I'm very gun-shy with guardless knives having cut myself several times using them.

That's what D-guards are for, it's impossible for your hand to slide up on the edge with one of those in place :)

Great looking knives.

Is there as good of a selection of knives on the second day as there is on the first day?

Anyone know how much the M6 with custom urban/black combo was?

I am really bummed I wasnt there.

Actually, if a knife is used properly no 'guards' are needed on the handles. Unless one is using a knife to stab with; your grip should'nt be compromised by the knives lack of a guard IME. I pretty much own straight handled knives and have never had my hand slip up onto the blade during use. It really depends upon your intended use of said knife. If the lack of a guard bothers you you can always secure a couple turns of line on the handle near the blade edge. a more temporary fix that I've used with some Boy Scouts was to just take a few turns with a rubber band at the front of the handle.
