Howdy folks,
I'm not sure if this is against the rules or not, if it is then moderators, feel free to delete this thread.
What I have in mind is, I have of blades I started months back, and I'd like to finish them, but I need motivation. :D
If someone is interested in one of these blades, then we can discuss what fittings and handle you want with it.

Here's the specs for each blade, along with projected price:

Top knife, 1095 steel, with a simple hamon, 600 grit handrubbed finish. 5-1/2" blade $150-$200

Second from top, 1075 steel, with simple hamon, 600 grit handrubbed finish, 9-1/8" blade $300-$350

Third from top, 1055 steel, forged from a railroad spring clip. Not ground or heat treated yet. I was going to put a hamon on it, and I do already
have a guard/handle arrangement in mind. 14-1/2" blade $450-$600

Fourth from top, Damascus mix of 1084/8670 Not ground and finished yet, but you can kind of see the pattern in the photo. 5-5/8" blade $200-$250

Bottom, 440C stainless, forged from 1-1/4" round stock. I was going to make this one into a double edged hollow ground fighter, but it could also
be single edged and flat ground. 9" blade. $300-$350

Thanks for looking,

e-mail sent.

By the way this is a great idea, I hope you can keep it here

Phillip I am not quite ready financially to purchase one of your blades yet but I am saving quickly. I would really love to see how that 14 1/2" blade turns out. I have started planning on what I would like to order from you in the future but then you throw that big blade in and now I am rethinking what I want.:D Keep us posted if you can, love your work!!

:D Well, I'm looking forward to doing business with you. :)

Here's a drawing of what I had in mind for the handle for the big blade. The top drawing is an alternate guard shape, which I think I like more than the other.

Very cool looking blades.

I am in Fort Wayne as well. Small world!

It is a small world! Maybe we'll meet up sometime. One of these days I'd like to have a table at the Gun and Knife show. Maybe later this year....

BTW folks, the top blade is taken, the others are still available.

Whoah, that big one has some serious potential,
it's a bit like frodos sting, but functional.
Why wasnt that thing scooped up yet?

The other four blades are still available. (Hint hint) :D

OOOOW that ones mine, looks good to me phillip! :D

Thank you sir! I need to get the sheath finished, but that won't take long.
BTW, if you're trying to email me, my email quit working just after I sent you the note. Hopefully it'll kick in soon...

All your knives are great, I think that's one of the nicest you have made in my eyes. I could own one of those myself easily. Gorgeous workmanship :)

PS I speak from experience I have two of PP's knives, he makes a great sheath also.
