I like the idea of a camp knife that I is inexpensive.

I have a C-173. It looks to be about 1/16 thick.

I wouldn't be suprised then that with a similar bevel that it would cut deeper than the Nessie.

The Moras drive me nuts. I showed my buddy at work the new Busse BAD I bought a while ago. Then, I showed him a Mora 946. When I told him the prices of each knife, he thought I was absolutely crazy to buy the Busse.

I love nice knives, but the incredible value of the Moras sometimes makes me think it's ridiculous to buy anything else!

Just received this from Ragnar...

"S-04, They are just in. It's almost, but not quite, a stainless version of the 173. The blade is a bit thicker and about a 1/4" shorter. It's going to be $15 without the sheath. The sheath costs more than the knife, and I expect most folks will prefer to make their own. I rather like it. ;-) Thanks again for the inquiry. I wouldn't have known about it otherwise."

I will order one on Monday.
