Here’s the knife that introduced me to Camillus. Grandpa’s old easy opener with ebony scales worn from years of use. It was on this knife I first learned how to hone on oil stones. After he passed, Grandma gave it to me. I should file the kick to get that old worn main to sit lower, and have thought about fixing the broken spring on the secondary, but I’m afraid to mess with it.

The Craftsman is an interesting one. I've seen some documentation that this knife went through the Camillus factory, but I suspect that there's more to it. I've come across a few of these knives, and seen pictures of countless more. None of them have ever shown signs of pin peening on the bolsters. I suspect that parts were obtained through Camillus, but possibly assembled at the Schrade factory using Swindon Key construction.
What are the odds we have the same company advertised on our CAMCOs ...lol
Camillus made good knives, almost as good as schrade.
