A Challenge!

I took this on our last camping trip.

Great combo, fishiker! I'm a fan of the hawk + belt knife pairing for weekend outings and fishing trips.

I can't resist the temptation to add a few recent pics to this thread.

Here's my JK Hudson Bay fire kit, hard at work in Quebec:

And here's a shot of the same knife next to my JK ACEK. I love the handle on this knife - it is really comfortable in a variety of grips, and the combi-edge works well.

All the best,

PS let's see some more user pics!

I thought I said no "safe queens", those knives look too new to be users. :D

I believe that`s the first photo I`ve seen you post! Love those ATC Hawks, I`ve got the Ranger Spike Hawk from ATC, and one that looks just like yours from HB Forge.

The ATC is a prototype #001 that probably should be in a collection but I'm a user not a collector.

Some day, I'm going to talk you into making another set like that. Those are amazing.

this may not be what you had in mind, but i just received this. can you tell me more about this knife?

That came from udtjim, right? It`s one of my early knives, before I went full time. I called it the Heavy Duty, 3/16" O1, black micarta.

THanks, I found it on the 'bay... not sure if it was udtjim. It certainly is heavy duty!
