My name finally came up on Ken Erickson's list right after he finished his stunning 5 blade stockman. Since seeing that knife, I was convinced that I should change my order and asked him what he thought about making a 4 blade congress based on the Case 88 pattern. He said he was actually thinking of doing a congress pattern and we hammered out the details. Well, I received the pics of the finished knife today, when I came home from work. I am more than a little excited to be receiving this knife,I think Ken nailed this one-Enjoy!!!

Very nice knife with beautiful jigging! I don't particularly like the congress pattern, but this could make me change my mind!

OK, I admit it, now I am jealous and green with envy! :D.. But, I do approve!! Good GOD man, Ken hit this one clean out of the park!!!

Congrats to the both of you fellows!!!

When she arrives at your place and you have a moment, I'd love to see the back-side of this beauty showing the blades and liners if you can?.. Please?

Best,
Anthony

Fantastic!

I love the feel of a Congress but I just don't care for the standard blade pattern (2 short blades and 2 shorter blades the way I see it).

This one is perfect!

I really like the Case 88 pattern. Great choice and great work by Ken. Looks smooth all the way around.

While I'm not a fan of the congress pattern, I'm sure the approval rating of this congress is much higher than the other one:D

That's a fine knife there, congratulations. It's incredible really, it seems that Ken tackles a different pattern with each new knife.

Wow, that is gorgeous! I too have never been a huge congress fan but he really nailed that one!

An excellent assortment of blades on that one:thumbup:

Too many Congress knives have a duplication of blades, this is a lot more practical and sexy:D

jivedaddy,It seems your choice & your timing, have collided, perfectly, with this great knifemaker !!

That looks to be really, really spectacular.A great set of blades & it looks slim & the bone is gorgeous, too. That knife looks really outstanding
Congrat's to you & Great job Ken.

Ken did an outstanding job! Congrats to both of you!

I like the fact this congress pattern doesn't duplicate blades but gives you 4 distinctive choices. Very good choice!

It sure looks good from this angle!:cool: Ken's got it goin on ;)

The "congress" is my favorite knife for whittling.

Ken did the pattern proud.

Congrats to you both!
