A congress for all to enjoy

Ken makes great jigged bone!!
The knife is the icing on the cake!!:D

I wanted to add what a pleasure it was working with Tony(jivedaddy) on this knife. A very challenging knife to make. I tend to try and get as much blade into a frame as possible and putting 4 blades into a frame not any wider than a stockman or two blade trapper tested my abilities!

I put this one on the scale and it weighs in at 3 1/4 oz.

Thanks for all the kind comments on this one, very much appreciated.

Ken

I just got the knife today, and I gotta tell you, this knife is even better than the pictures!!! Ken, you did a fantastic job with the pattern, everything I wanted in this knife-it was a pleasure working with you on this project-thanks again!!!:D

Ken, your work never fails to amaze me, and this congress is one of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen. I love the blade selection. Beautiful work as always.

Tony, congrats on such a fine knife. That's certainly one to carry and use with pride.

Wow!!! I just found this thread. That is a simply stunning folder from one of the best. I like everything about it.

Coincidentally, I was talking to my ol' bud Mike Robuck a few weeks ago about this pattern, and mentioned how fine it would be to have this whittler pattern from Ken...and dang if one didn't just show up in the folksy forum. I'm jealous and droolin' and wishing you the best with that one. :)

Drop dead gorgeous Ken!

I really like this pattern, and here is a shot of my Case to share...it's an amazing amount of functional flexibility in a small frame:

That Congress is just gorgeous! I carried a big Boker in the '70s in the construction trades and it was ideal. I couldn't bear to knock one of Ken's knives around. It should nest in red silk.

The congress pattern has always been one of my favorites, and this one is gorgeous, as already stated... Congrats on a fine, fine knife.
