Not interested in these but could someone add some clarity/emphasis/enforcement to this rule from Sec 2 of exchange rules?
  1. No auction or raffle type sale threads.
Very sorry for this forum member's dilemma, but perhaps a better outcome for both the seller & buyers if the rules were somehow headlined at the top of this forum & thread.

Personally, if I sell to the first "I will take it", then it should be a reply to the post and not in a PM. Then there it is clear as to who responded first. If there had been a price listed then perhaps Rockgolfer wouldn't have been the first to respond, but who knows. Anyway that is the reason for all the messages and confusion. Jmo

If you do, be sure to list a selling price in your initial for sale thread and not in a edited post 11 minutes after.

From the Exchange rules.

SECTION 2 - Rules/Procedures for Selling, Buying, Trading, & Offering Services:
The implementation of common sense is strongly encouraged beyond this point. This applies directly to the persons involved in the transactions.

Sellers/Selling -
  1. Be 100% sure that you want to sell the item, have it in your possession and clearly list the TOTAL selling price.
    • There is no "testing the waters" or "gauge buyer interest".
    • "Net to me" needs to be figured into your LISTED PRICE
    • Insurance is the responsibility of the SELLER not the Buyer. This is for your protection.
    • Paypal "friends & family" is STRONGLY DISCOURAGED. This is for your protection.
  2. No auction or raffle type sale threads.

1) GEC Northfield Campagna SFO #772215 Washington Jack in Cocobolo. This knife is unused and new in tube. This is the second time tit has been out of the tube since it was purchased. It has some very light factory/handling marks that are typical of the highly polished GEC's of this era. Near mint. Gorgeous Cocobolo. Comes in tube with wax paper. SPF via RockGolfer

2) GEC Northfield #470116 Viper in Snakewood. This knife is unused and new in tube. Again, this is only the second time this knife has been out of it's tube. Has light handling marks from the factory. Near mint. The Snakewood is fantastic on this specimen. Comes in tube with wax paper. SPF via RockGolfer
